Mambo Cafe
One night, when I was in Mexico, I went to a place called Mambo Cafe with a group of students. It was one of the all you can drink places for $5....
This was the band that was playing on the night we were there...
The girls thought the boys were cute and we went to an after party at their house. oooooo.

god i love love
i love my love.
i love my family's love.
and i love it when non-pda couples have slip ups and get kisses on the forehead.

Okay, so today
was one of the most exciting days I've had this week.
Every year, Random House and McClelland & Stewart invite booksellers to their fall preview. This translates to lots of free books. Last year I skipped out to hang out with my cousins visiting from England.
This year I met Jean Chretien and Elizabeth Hay and scored the following books...
A Student of Weather by Elizabeth Hay (trade and signed to me)
red China blues: My Long March from Mao to Now by Jan Wong (trade)
Atonement by Ian McEwan (trade)
a spot of bother by Mark Haddon (trade)
Restless by William Boyd (trade)
The Friends Of Meager Fortune by David Adams Richards (trade)
the Custodian of Paradise by Wayne Johnston (HC)
Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman by Haruki Murakami (HC)
The Assassin's Song by M. G. Vassanji (HC)
Mister Pip by Lloyd Jones (HC)

Uxmal
Hey folks... this is me making my way down some steps at Uxmal. At the time I wasn't too worried about falling down them... I promise...
Did you know tourists died climbing the steps at Tikal?

Which College Major Should You Be? | |
![]() | Your major should be Engineering. Logic is your friend. With enough work, you can find a solution to anything... Unless it involves dating or parties. |
![]() | Your major should be Art. You are sensitive, creative, and you don't follow established rules. Unfortunately, you'll have to follow some rules if you ever want that promotion at Starbucks. |
